Musings in Four Dimensions

Send lawyers, guns and money.

The Coverys.com project with Digital Bungalow wasn't so much a site mapping and wireframing exercise, as some of the previous projects were. This one was a bit different…

Coverys is a legal and insurance firm that specializes in covering physician's practices and hospitals. When Digital Bungalow brought me along to work with Coverys, I thought this project would play out like the previous ones - some "desk work" followed by site mapping and wire framing. This, however, was not the case - instead, this project was heavily weighted on the side of research, analysis, current SEO standing and how to optimize for better organic discovery, etc…

I worked with the Digital Bungalow design team to analyze Covery's SEO standing at the start of the project, their site metrics, and overall website content. From there, I worked to assemble the findings and documentation to move forward on redesigning and reworking their website.

Below are screenshots of the documentation that were the result of the research, findings, and recommendations of what action to take next to improve their website and overall online presence and standing.

Update: Since the time of this project (early-mid 2015), Coverys has done a significant update to their website, and it appears to have been in response to the findings in this project.
